The Public Health Agency of England shared the results of a study conducted on the effect of Covid-19 vaccines on loss of life in the country.
In the study, the number of casualties caused by Covid-19 in the pre-vaccination period from December 8, 2020, when the vaccination program began, to April 30, was compared.
Accordingly, with the application of Covid-19 vaccines in the country, 9 thousand 900 people over the age of 80, 1500 in the 70-79 age range, 300 in the age range 60-69, a total of 11 thousand 700 people died due to the virus and 33 thousand people over 60 years old were hospitalized. It was estimated that his admission was prevented.
British Health Minister Matt Hancock said, “Our Covid-19 vaccines saved the lives of 11 thousand 700 people, prevented the hospitalization of 33 thousand people. This is remarkable after a very sad and difficult year.” used the expressions.
Hancock also called for the British to get Covid-19 vaccines when offered.

Minister responsible for vaccines Nadhim Zahawi, stating that the Covid-19 vaccination program is continuing rapidly, described the “incredible” effect of vaccination on the country as “wonderful”.
