A FIRST IN HISTORY

For the first time in its history, the unknown underground tunnels of the Colosseum in Rome are open to visitors.

The labyrinth consisting of underground passages, rooms and cages, where gladiators and prisoners wait before exiting the arena through the trap doors, can be visited as of Friday in the amphitheater, which has a history of two thousand years.
