UEFA’s Rangers-Slavia investigation into alleged racism in Prague match


In the statement made by UEFA, it was stated that the events that took place in the last 16 round rematch match between Rangers in Scotland and Czech representative Slavia Prague will be investigated.

Rangers Coach Steven Gerrard stated that his football player Glen Kamara was exposed to the racist rhetoric of Slavia Prag player Ondrej Kudela and called UEFA to duty.

According to the images reflected on the cameras during the match, Kudela said something to Kamara’s ear and there was tension between the parties.

Slavia Prague Club and Kudela denied the allegations of racist rhetoric.
