Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Greek Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsotakis in Greece, where he came for official contacts.
Then Çavuşoğlu met with Greek Foreign Minister Dendias. “We have agreed with Turkey on the recognition of the vaccination certificate,” Dendias said.
Minister Çavuşoğlu, on the other hand, said at the press conference, “We agreed on the vaccination certificate. Citizens of the two countries that are negative will be able to travel mutually. We have decided to mutually recognize the vaccines in the two countries. We believe that the decision will contribute to bilateral tourism. We have a common will with Greece.”
Minister Çavuşoğlu previously shared on his social media account, “We met with Greek Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsotakis. The revival of our dialogue channels is positive. It is important to strengthen our relations for the solution of our problems.”
