Due to the heavy rains that increased last night and continued this morning, especially in the east of the country, a state of emergency was declared in cities such as Liege, Verviers and Spa.
With the dead bodies of 4 people reached in Verviers, the number of people who died in the flood increased to 6. In Liege, it was reported that 2 people died.
