Many fishing boats capsized due to a storm on July 14 off West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
11 people on the sinking boat lost their lives, at least 42 people were missing.
The first information was that 9 people lost their lives and 47 people disappeared.
Yopi Haryadi, head of the search and rescue office in the region, said, “Waves of up to 5 meters sank the boats. As of today, 77 people have been rescued alive.”
Rescue efforts continue in the region, where weather conditions have started to improve.
