As part of the fight against the Corona virus epidemic, vaccination programs started in many countries continue.
While countries are slowly starting to return to normal with vaccines, the tourism season has started to reduce the negative effects of the epidemic on the economy.
EVERYONE WITH A VACCINE CERTIFICATE CAN ENTER
Spain allows vaccinated tourists from outside the European Union (EU) to enter the country. According to the decision taken by the Spanish government, anyone who is vaccinated and proves it with a vaccination certificate can enter the country.
The vaccine must be approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the World Health Organization (WHO). In this context, in addition to Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson&Johnson vaccines, Spain also accepts those who have the China-based Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines according to European countries.
QUARANTINE IS APPLIED TO CITIZENS OF SOME COUNTRIES
Tourists coming to Spain fill out the health control form via the Spain Travel Health (SpTH) application.
Currently, only travel restrictions apply to Brazil and South Africa, while tourists from India are subject to a mandatory 10-day quarantine upon arrival in the country. In addition, cruise ships, which are large cruise ships, are now allowed to enter the country.
