Within the scope of the fight against the new type of corona virus (Covid-19), Japan will apply a 3-day “mandatory quarantine” to passengers coming from more than 15 countries, including Turkey, at previously determined points.
In the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new border measures regulation that will be implemented by Japan against the epidemic at the entrance to the country was announced.
Changes were made to the mandatory quarantine periods applied to passengers arriving within the scope of the regulation at predetermined points by the health authorities.
Accordingly, a 10-day mandatory quarantine will be applied to passengers departing from Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and Zambia, and a 6-day quarantine will be applied to passengers departing from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Passengers arriving from more than 15 countries and regions, including Turkey, Libya, Belarus and Egypt, are required to quarantine for 3 days.
Passengers who have undergone the PCR test again after the mandatory quarantine will be able to go to their residence in Japan after the result is negative.
Mandatory quarantine requirement has been lifted for passengers arriving from France, Estonia, Luxembourg, Nigeria and some states of the USA.
On the other hand, the 14-day isolation and control practice applied to passengers arriving in Japan from all countries and regions in their own homes will continue. The new regulation will come into effect from tomorrow.
