New decision on foreign students graduating in the UK

Post-graduation visa good news came to foreign students in England.
As part of the government’s new immigration policy, foreign students who have completed undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies at educational institutions in the country were allowed to stay in the country for 2 to 3 years after graduation to seek employment.

Applications for the Graduate Route program can be made from 1 July 2021.

The program paved the way to stay in the country for 2 years for graduate students and 3 years for doctoral students.

Moreover, students will not have to look for sponsors. Foreign students will not need a job offer to apply for the route either. In addition, there will be no restrictions such as a minimum salary requirement. This means that graduates will be able to work flexibly, change jobs, or develop and change their careers if they need to.

Those who start their education in the autumn period of 2020 must be in England until June 21, and those who start their education in January-February 2021 until September 27.

Those who started their education in their own country due to the Covid-19 outbreak will also be able to apply for the program.

UK exports to Turkey also goes for many students each year. Despite the pandemic restrictions last year, nearly 2 thousand Turkish students were given visas for education.

With the new system, it is predicted that students will feel more secure and make plans for the future.
