NASA uses Moon dust to combat air pollution on Earth, which has been a problem for Apollo missions


Working with Denver-based Lunar Outpost, NASA has developed an air quality sensor that can measure a variety of pollutants such as carbon monoxide, methane, sulfur dioxide and volatile organic compounds. The device in question used the technology NASA uses to measure lunar dust.
