More than 85,000 people disappeared in Mexico since 2006

Alejandro Encinas, from the Department of Human Rights and Multilateral Relations at the Mexican Foreign Ministry, said in a statement that the highest number of bodies so far has been found in the states of Sinaloa, Jalisco, Colima, Guanajuato and Sonora.

Encinas stated that 85 thousand 6 people disappeared in the report prepared by the government, which covered the process from the beginning of 2006 to April 7, and said that secret graves continue to be found in various regions of the country due to the increase in clashes between criminal organizations.

It is known that there are often hidden graves in the country where drug gangs have buried the bodies of those they smuggled and killed from rival cartels or the public.
