Missile attack from Syrian territory to south of Israel


Israel announced that a land-to-air missile fired from Syria fell to the south of the country, while the battery from which the missile was fired was hit.

In a written statement made by the Israeli army, it was stated that an air-to-ground missile attack was carried out from Syrian territory to the Negev (Najaf Desert) region in the south of Israel.

The statement said, “It was determined that a land-to-air missile, which was recently fired from Syria to the Negev region, was fired”.

The statement pointed out that the battery from which the missile was fired was hit, and said, “On the contrary, the Israeli army shot down other land-to-air missile batteries in the region of Syria with the battery where the missile was fired.”

The statement did not contain any information about whether he was dead or injured.

On the other hand, SANA, the official news agency of Syria, announced that Israel carried out a missile attack on the capital of Syria, Damascus.

The report emphasized that Israel carried out a missile attack on the Dumayr region in the countryside of Damascus, and stated that “Our air defense systems are responding to enemy missiles”.

It is stated that in addition to the Syrian army, groups close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards are also stationed around Damascus.
