THE LAST SITUATION OF VACCINATION IN INDIA
India originally wanted to vaccinate 300 million people by July, but there has been a dramatic drop in the number of people vaccinated due to lack of doses. Of the 1.4 billion population, only 269 million received two doses and 128 million received a single dose.
Vaccine stocks in the country are nearly depleted, and adults under 45 are currently struggling to make vaccination appointments.
On the other hand, experts say lockdowns and vaccines are the only way out of the epidemic, but the government needs to act immediately.
