In the statement made by China’s National Health Commission (NHC), it was reported that a person in Jiangsu province in the east of the country was infected with the H10N3 strain of bird flu.

It was reported that a 41-year-old man living in the city of Zhenjiang was hospitalized on April 28 with fever and other symptoms.
