The report prepared by the World Bank in cooperation with the European Union (EU) and the United Nations (UN) revealed that after the 11-day attack by Israel, a financing of approximately 485 million dollars was needed for the immediate and short-term recovery in Gaza.
In the report, it was stated that more than 260 people, including 66 children and 41 women, lost their lives in the attacks on Gaza in May.
It was pointed out that the attacks seriously weakened the economy. In the report, which stated that between 290 and 380 million dollars of physical damage occurred in Gaza, it was noted that the attacks caused economic losses between 105 and 190 million dollars.
The report emphasized that it is estimated that between $345 and $485 million is needed for immediate and short-term recovery and restructuring.
