Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.
Minister Çavuşoğlu had a tete-a-tete meeting with Le Drian and between delegations in Paris, the capital of France, where he was on an official visit.
During the meeting, it was stated that regional issues, especially Libya and Syria, and the upcoming NATO Summit were exchanged, and Turkey-France and Turkey-European Union relations were discussed.
The meeting, which was closed to the press, lasted approximately 2.5 hours.
“We aim to strengthen our relations with France on the basis of mutual respect,” Minister Çavuşoğlu said on his social media account regarding the meeting.
