Flood disaster in Japan: Death toll rises to 7

Search and rescue efforts continue on the 5th day of the flood and landslide that killed 7 people in Japan.

In Atami, Shizuoka province, southwest of the capital Tokyo, at least 130 houses were destroyed due to the disaster on July 3.
City officials announced that during the search and rescue efforts, the bodies of 3 more people were found, and the number of dead increased to 7.
It is estimated that more than 20 people are missing in the city after the flood and landslide.
In Atami, search and rescue teams consisting of firefighters, police and military units continued to search for the underground and remove the debris in the disaster-affected areas.
