In India, where the Corona virus epidemic was out of control, there was once again a fire disaster.
It was reported that a fire broke out in the Patel Welfare Hospital, where corona virus patients were treated in the Bharuch region of Gujarat state. It was stated that many firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
Police officer BM Parmar announced in a statement that 18 patients died as a result of the fire that broke out in the hospital’s corona virus treatment center.
BM Parmar stated that 31 patients were rescued by the fire brigade and transferred to different hospitals. Stating that the fire broke out on the ground floor, the police noted that the flames were extinguished within 1 hour.
While the cause of the fire was not known yet, an investigation was launched into the incident.

On April 23, 13 patients died in a fire in a hospital in the Virar region where Covid-19 patients were treated.
