Female soldiers took part for the first time in Masjid al-Haram


According to the news in the social media account of the Saudi Arabian-based al-Arabiyya channel, 80 female soldiers worked with other security forces to ensure the safety of visitors in the Masjid al-Haram.

In the report, it was pointed out that the women security guards were given military training.

Gayda Bekir, one of the female soldiers working in the Masjid al-Haram, stated that their duty is to help women umrah and direct the crowd.

Saudi Arabian Public Security announced on October 8, 2020 that the first training cycles of 148 women soldiers were completed and that they registered with the Hajj and Umrah Security Forces.
