Ethiopian plane landed at airport in Zambia

A cargo plane belonging to Ethiopian Airlines accidentally landed at the airport under construction in Zambia.

According to local media reports, the plane that took off from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, landed yesterday at Zambia’s Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport instead of Copperbelt Airport, which is still under construction.

It was stated that the landing was caused by the pilot error, and the construction workers were surprised when they saw the plane landing at the airport.

Zambian officials who confirmed the incident announced that an investigation was launched into the incident.
