Emphasizing that the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in Russia has deteriorated, Popova said, “The epidemic situation continues to get difficult. The situation is extremely tense in some parts of the country. Covid-19 cases increased by 100 percent, that is, twofold, compared to the previous four weeks. MOST CASE ARE BETWEEN 20 AND 39 YEARS OLD
Pointing out that most of those infected with the virus are between the ages of 20 and 39, Popova said that the number of Covid-19 patients without symptoms has doubled.
Sharing the information that the obligation to be vaccinated against Covid-19 has been introduced in 10 regions of Russia, Popova said, “As of Monday, we will make a decision on the introduction of the obligation to be vaccinated in 8 more regions.”

Russian Health Minister Murashko also stated that 0.5 percent of those vaccinated against Covid-19 caught the virus and that women who are pregnant can get the “Sputnik V” (GamKovidVak) vaccine.
Russian Prime Minister Mishustin pointed out that the epidemic situation in the country is not “simple” and said, “The virus is spreading. Cases are increasing. Of course, in case the situation worsens, the bed capacity reserved for Covid-19 patients should be preserved.”

SOME MEASURES EXTENDED IN MOSCOW
Moscow Municipality has decided to extend the duration of some measures.
Accordingly, the ban imposed on all restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs and other entertainment venues in the city to serve customers from 23.00 at night to 06.00 in the morning will continue. Citizens will be able to order food remotely during the said hours.
However, companies in the city are required to have at least 30 percent of their employees work remotely. In addition, it has been decided to work remotely for citizens over the age of 65 and with certain diseases.
In Moscow, it was decided on June 22 that only citizens who were vaccinated, survived the epidemic within 6 months and had a Covid-19 test within 72 hours could visit restaurants and cafes.
The football fan centers and dance areas in the city were closed. Entertainment and sports events can be organized provided that they do not exceed 500 people.
