According to the statement made by the United Nations Humanitarian Affairs Coordination Office (OCHA), members of the terrorist organization Boko Haram have carried out various attacks in the Geidam region of Yobe state since April 23.
Approximately 150,000 people left their homes in fear after the attacks, some took refuge in camps in the state.

In Nigeria, more than 20,000 people have died in mass terrorist acts organized by Boko Haram since 2009.
The terrorist organization has also carried out attacks in the country’s border neighbors Cameroon, Chad and Niger since 2015. At least 2 thousand people died in the attacks of the organization in the Lake Chad Basin.
Hundreds of thousands of people had to migrate in the country due to terrorist attacks and conflicts.
