US President Joe Biden announced that the goal of “100 million vaccines” set for the first 100 days of his duty will be reached tomorrow.
In his speech at the White House, Biden made statements regarding the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccination studies in the country.
Reminding that they are on the 58th day in office, Biden shared the information that “We will reach our 100 million vaccine target tomorrow in the first 100 days. I will announce our next target next week”.
Stating that they have made progress on the virus, Biden warned, “Now is the time to be optimistic, but not the time to be comfortable.”
Underlining that 65 percent of people over the age of 65 in the country received at least 1 dose of vaccine, Biden said, “We are on the way to have enough vaccine stock for each American by the end of May”.
Reminding scientists that the mutations of Covid-19 could accelerate the spread of the virus, Biden called out to the American people, “Everyone should be vaccinated. I want your help.”
