Biden held its first cabinet meeting

Biden, who took the presidency on January 20, gave a short speech to journalists before the first cabinet meeting in the White House.

At the meeting held under Covid-19 measures, Biden underlined that his cabinet is the most diverse cabinet in US history.

Biden thanked the Senate for approving his cabinet in “record time”.

Reminding that he announced the infrastructure plan in Pittsburgh yesterday, Biden stated that they assigned various duties to 5 ministers in their cabinet for the implementation of this program.

Biden said that ministries’ expenditures should also be given priority to the purchase of American-made goods.

The meeting continued closed to the press after Biden’s speech.
