Balance sheet weighs on Florida wreckage | NTV

The number of people who lost their lives as a result of the partial collapse of a 12-storey building in the Surfside region of Miami, Florida, USA, rose to 22.

Search and rescue efforts continue in the building, which collapsed on June 24.

There is still no news from the 126 people who are thought to be under the rubble.


It was announced that one of the people whose body was found was the 7-year-old daughter of a firefighter who was involved in search and rescue efforts.

The Mayor of Miami has announced that he has given approval for the planned demolition of the rest of the building.
