On Funen Island Odense City Museum archaeologists, in the excavations, perfectly preserved from the Bronze Age. 3 thousand year old sword found. Museum Curator Jesper Hansen stated that the sword is still a sharp and very rare artifact.

Hansen stated that the sword was offered as an offering and was buried wrapped in a cloth.

Museum officials stated that since the handle of the sword is made of wood, ivory and horn, samples will be taken from it and the exact age will be determined.
