The economic impact of the Covid-19 outbreak continues, according to the news that public broadcaster NHK based on the survey conducted by Tokyo Shoko Research at the beginning of the month.

The survey answered by 8,400 SMEs revealed that 35 percent of businesses are under the debt burden they cannot afford.

According to the results of the survey, restaurants and food and beverage suppliers were among the most affected by the sector.

It was noted that two-thirds of the companies benefited from preferential loan use, but the loan repayment processes were difficult with the negative impact of Covid-19 on the markets.
